Bring your box(es) to our worship service at 10:30am Sunday, November 8- our Operation Christmas Child dedication day.

About Operation Christmas Child:

The Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts filled with fun toys, school supplies, and personal care items—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way. For many of these children, the gift—filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received.

Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, has collected and delivered more than 209 million shoebox gifts to children in more than 170 countries and territories. In 2023, Operation Christmas Child hopes to collect enough shoebox gifts to reach another 11 million children.

East Booneville Baptist Church has been a part of this ministry for years. We encourage individuals and families to pack a box (or several boxes). This can be a great way to talk with your children about the real meaning of Christmas and get them involved with the entire process. Below you will find an overview video and a little further down there is a video about how to pack a box. We have some boxes available in the auditorium of the church, but a shoebox will work just fine. Also, there is an option this year to “pack a box online”, which allows you to do everything online- even pick out what goes in. You can find our page for that at this link.
