Connect to Hope

There are a lot of hurting people in our area who need help with many different things- behavior problems, emotional problems, attitude problems, or relationship problems. Some folks need help finding housing or training to get a better paying job. Other people have addiction problems, are trying to help a loved one who is addicted, or dealing with other life controlling issues. This weekend is all about matching up people in our community with organizations who specialize in different ways of offering help & hope.

HERE ARE SOME ORGANIZATIONS / MINISTRIES WHO HELP PEOPLE IN VARIOUS WAYS…

East Booneville Baptist Church Connect to Hope Groups– Two classes/groups are offered 6pm each Wednesday night at East Booneville Baptist Church.   Our Wednesday night Connect To Hope classes are temporary cancelled until further notice because of the Covid19 precautions.  We will post here when we figure out a future restart date.


Oasis Medical Centerpregnancy testing & verification, information on pregnancy options, limited OB, ultrasound, STD/STI testing & treatment, abortion recovery help, adoption education & referrals, preparing for baby/parenting classes, referrals for Community Services


Health and Wellness- Several local healthcare providers will be on site to assist you in finding help for your physical well being.  Need to know how to find a health care provider to treat your illness?


NEMCC Adult Basic Education– TIGER WORKS is the new Adult Education (AE) opportunity at Northeast Mississippi Community College!  Tiger WORKS offers a variety of Opportunities, Resources, Knowledge, and Skills to help you advance toward your life goals: Tiger WORKS is your next step toward accomplishing your career and educational goals.

  • Industry endorsed/driven certifications to aid in job readiness for FREE
  • Advanced and beginner computing with computing certifications for FREE
  • Math courses to help manage your household and business for FREE
  • Money management courses to help budget your future for FREE
  • Up to 15 hours of college credits to apply toward an associate degree for FREE
  • Courses to equip parents to help their children with homework
  • Career counseling and individualized career success plan for FREE
  • Scholarship and incentives toward obtaining credits to apply towards an associate degree for Free
  • Both day and night classes to fit any schedule

NEMCC Career Development Academics (CDA) Program


MS Behavioral Health- Counselors will be on site to assist you in finding help for mental health issues.


Celebrate Recovery- is a Christ-centered 12 step program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind.  Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life.


Rapid Rehousing- is a solution to homelessness designed to help individuals and families to quickly exit homelessness and return to permanent housing.


Home of Grace– is a faith based addiction recovery program has served South Mississippi for over 50 years, giving hope to tens of thousands of men and women.


Prentiss County Sheriff Dept.– officers will be on hand to answer whatever question you might have about issues pertaining to law enforcement.


Living Free- a non-residential faith-based addiction recovery program located in Corinth, Mississippi where we are dedicated to helping people.


God’s House of Hope– is to provide hope to the hopeless! It is our goal to direct the people to the Lord Jesus to find love and a purpose for their lives and to make disciples of them as the Bible directs. 


Bridge House- at Burnsville is a faith-based transitional house for fully rehabilitated women to learn or re-learn how to function in and contribute to society. Our goal is to help ladies whose lives have been disrupted by addictions to help them From “Sobriety to Society”.


Family Resource Center– The Mission is to provide quality educational support services in a family based and child-friendly environment to promote healthy families and communities. FRC provides a host of services for the family, as listed here.


Families First for Mississippi– The main goal for Families First for Mississippi is to impact the entire family by connecting the dots between all of the Mississippi family services.


Transformation Ranch– seeks to allow men  to break the cycle of addiction. homelessness, and unmanageable life circumstances in their lives. Transformation Ranch offers supporting housing and facilitates a stable faith-based environment for men who want to change their lives through the power of Jesus Christ. 


Advocates for Freedom– is dedicated to ending the exploitation, sale and enslavement of men, women and children.  Through awareness and education, AFF has been leading the way to stop Human Trafficking throughout Mississippi and beyond.
